Many of the books we source are out-of-the-ordinary titles that, perhaps, you wouldn't easily find on the high street. These include collectables like 'Artist's Books;' rare and out-of-print books and books from small, independent presses. Artist's Books

This shelf mainly features sometimes challenging, often beautiful books made by artists. Notwithstanding, there are also out-of-the-ordinary books on this shelf by small, independent publishers; some of whom are artists designers and poets anyway.
Culture Today
In this section there is a stack of books, weighty and lighthearted, with an emphasis on contemporary culture. You will find books on this shelf which: Showcase the talents of emerging and established artists and designers, and highlight their ideals and their concerns. Books, for instance, like the excellent Massive Change. Because small change is important too, this shelf also includes easy-to-read pocketbooks to help inform about animal rights, consumerism, politics and more.

On this shelf you will find biographies of contemporary composers and musicians, cd’s by small, independent labels and beautiful photography with a musical theme.
Photography
The photography shelf houses those out-of-the-ordinary photography books which we love and chose because they're different!
We Live in Cumbria
.... although we weren't all born here! This shelf features an eclectic selection of (mainly) poetry and prose by Cumbrian-based authors who have all visited Neo's at one time or another. Naturally, some of the work is inspired by the Cumbrian landscape.
